Ella Acrylic Walk-in Tubs are vacuum formed from a solid, long-lasting acrylic sheet. The non-porous material in white gloss finish is easy to clean and impermeable to mold and mildew. Under the acrylic shell facade is a rust proof, stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers to ensure the durability of the tub’s structure. The frame has multiple leveling legs that can be adjusted for an easier installation and stronger support.
Ella’s Ultimate Walk-In Tubs main feature is the door made from a custom brushed stainless steel and a frosted tempered glass window to give a sleek, contemporary look. The door swings into the bathtub to allow the bather to enter and exit the tub. The door can be removed from the common door hinges in order to give bathers easy access to difficult to clean places. Additionally, the polished stainless steel inward swing door’s lever lock was uniquely designed with an extended lever. The extension allows bathers to effortlessly lift the lever, bypassing bathers legs when locking the door. The lever lock creates a secure and watertight door seal, providing you with a safe, leak-free bathing experience.
The Ultimate comes with our unique Ella Dual Drain Technology (DDT) consisting of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers, allowing a fast, reliable drainage. Two caps are also included to cover up to 2 of 4 ports if needed. The 2” drain outlets can be connected to the standard 1 ½” house drain with a T or Y fitting and piping selected by a professional plumber. The drain pipe configuration and selection of the pipes and fittings is up to the homeowner or licensed plumber. However, for the most efficient drainage, please consider connecting to all 4 ports and to a 2” house drain if possible.
Some may wonder how an Ella brand drain can drain faster even though it’s connected to a 1 ½” house drain using a T or Y fitting. That’s because as the water drains, air is pushed through the 2 overflows creating a vent system and reducing the amount of air bubbles preventing a free flow of the water. As a result, this produces the fastest gravity driven drain in the industry. The average drainage time evaluated by our dealers range from only 50 seconds to a couple minutes based on tub size, condition of the house drain and configurations.
The Ultimate also includes one (1) reversible end panel for left or right corner installation option and one (1) extension panel kit for a 60” alcove installation. These panels cover the end of the tub to give your bathtub a completed look. Additional panels can be ordered in the case your tub will be installed to the wall as free standing.
We provide a limited lifetime warranty, of free replacement parts for the lifetime of the original customer living at the address of installation. This warranty is non-transferable to other customers or locations. Shipping costs and the labor of replacement(s) are not included.
Independent Hydro Foot Massage System
The Hydro + Independent Foot Massage package uses two independently run pumps to give bathers a simultaneous full body and foot massage. Or, bathers can enjoy an independent foot massage within minutes of simply filling the foot well up the seat level. The foot massage system includes a hydro pump with an in-line water heater. Both the strategically positioned upper and lower jets powered by two hydro pumps have an intensity dial air control to adjust the strength of the water pressure to your liking from a gentle pressure to a more rigorous massage.
Ella Ultimate walk in bathtub models are equipped with dual adjustable direction foot massage hydro jets. These jets are strategically positioned in the lowest possible area of the floor for bathers to enjoy the foot massage in a relaxed position. The hydro massage intensity is adjusted by dial control for to suit each bather’s preference.
Heated Seat and Backrest
The Heated Backrest & Seat system helps keep you comfortable and warm while your tub fills. Operated by an on/off Push Control or Digital Control, the heated backrest and seat is activated in minutes, keeping users cozy and relaxed from the moment they enter the tub.
2" Dual Drain
The best fast drain in industry – no power required! Ella gravity driven 2″ dual drain technology with independently operated 2 openers, 2 overflows for fast and reliable drainage and exit out of the walk-in tub. This drain can be connected to 4 x two inch outlets vs. one 1 1/2″ standard bathtub drain.
